The modern GloriaFood alternative, built for UK takeaways.
GloriaFood switches off on 30 April 2027. Aexir replaces it with your own branded ordering app and website, a flat monthly fee at published prices from £30 a month ex VAT, and a team that rebuilds your menu from your GloriaFood export.
What is happening to GloriaFood.
The three facts that decide your timeline. The full story, with sources, is in our guide to the GloriaFood shutdown.
The retirement date
Oracle retires GloriaFood on this date. The ordering widget on your website, Facebook ordering, payment processing and POS links all stop with it.
Nothing is carried over
Oracle is offering no replacement product, no migration tool and no data retention after the cutoff. Menus, customer records and order history you have not saved yourself are gone.
The platform is frozen
New accounts are closed and the roadmap has stopped, so the system you are using today will not improve before it closes. Every restaurant on it needs somewhere to go.

Everything the widget never was.
GloriaFood was a form on your website. Aexir is the whole direct channel, under your name.
Your own branded app
iOS and Android apps under your restaurant’s name, with ordering, tracking and loyalty built in.
Ordering website
A branded ordering site, hosted for you, that replaces the GloriaFood widget and the domain button that pointed at it.
Delivery per order
Courier dispatch through integrated networks including Uber Direct, or your own drivers, with live tracking for the customer.
QR table ordering
Customers scan, order and pay from the table. Useful for cafes and dine-in without extra staff.
Loyalty and push
Stamp tiers, points, offers and promo codes, plus push notification campaigns you send yourself on a quiet night.
POS on the Go
A full till and back office in any browser: live menu changes, stock counts, refunds, order history and a sales dashboard with CSV export.

Switching from GloriaFood to Aexir.
Four steps, and you only do the first one on your own. The detailed version is the checklist for leaving GloriaFood.
Save what GloriaFood has
Export your customer list and order history, and copy out your menu with every size, option and price. There is no export tool for the menu, so do it while the admin still works.
Send us the export
Share the menu export, or a PDF or photos of the menu, plus your logo and colours. We import GloriaFood exports as part of setup and build your app and ordering website around your menu.
Approve, then we publish
You review the build. We submit the app to the App Store and Google Play under your name and put your ordering website live. Most restaurants are live in under 30 days.
Run both, then switch off
Keep GloriaFood running while customers move across. Repoint your QR codes, website button and social links, tell your regulars, then close GloriaFood on your own terms, well before the deadline.

GloriaFood alternative: your questions.
No. Aexir is a flat monthly fee at published prices: Web £30, Starter £30, Plus £40 and Pro £50 a month ex VAT. GloriaFood showed what a free platform costs in the end: the provider owns the system and decides when it closes. A published monthly price is the predictable model for a working restaurant.
GloriaFood’s core plan was free, with paid add-ons such as online card payments at US$29 a month and POS at US$49 a month per location. Aexir starts at £30 a month ex VAT with every feature on your plan included and no add-on charges. Full pricing is always published at aexir.com/pricing.
Yes. Send us your GloriaFood menu export, or a PDF or photos of the menu, and we build it into your app and ordering website as part of setup. Export your customer list from GloriaFood yourself before the cutoff; it is yours to keep and to use to tell regulars about the new app.
Setup is handled for you and most restaurants are live in under 30 days. App Store review times are outside anyone’s control, so start early enough to run GloriaFood and the new system side by side before the deadline.
Oracle retires GloriaFood on 30 April 2027. New signups are already closed, and Oracle has confirmed there is no migration tool and no data retention after the cutoff.
Aexir charges a flat monthly fee at published prices, not a percentage of your sales. Card payments run through Stripe, with Apple Pay and Google Pay at checkout.
Yes. Aexir is your own direct channel and runs alongside any marketplace you choose to keep. The savings calculator shows what moving regulars to direct ordering is worth with your own order numbers.
