Switching From GloriaFood? Your First Three Months Are Free

GloriaFood was free, and on 30 April 2027 it stops existing. Every UK restaurant on it has to move somewhere, and most are being asked to start paying for the first time at the worst possible moment. So here is what we are doing about it: move to Aexir before the shutdown on a 12-month plan and your first three months are free.

Why we are doing this

Thousands of restaurants chose GloriaFood because it was free, and free is a hard habit to break. The shutdown forces a decision, and the honest alternatives all cost money: a flat fee, a per-order fee, or a card rate that is never quite spelled out. We would rather a GloriaFood restaurant spent its first three months with us watching regulars move to direct ordering than worrying about a new bill.

There is a commercial reason too, and we will say it plainly: we want GloriaFood restaurants, and the 12-month term is what lets us give the first three months away. Three months is long enough to see whether your customers follow you; the year after is where a direct channel pays for itself.

What you pay, worked through

The Web plan is the like-for-like replacement for GloriaFood: a branded ordering website with card payments, delivery and collection, plus POS on the Go, a full till and back office in any browser. Starter, Plus and Pro add your own iOS and Android app. What each plan includes is on the pricing page.

What you get for it

• A branded ordering website, hosted for you, replacing the GloriaFood widget and the ordering button on your own site (Web, Plus and Pro).
• Your own iOS and Android app under your restaurant’s name (Starter, Plus and Pro).
• Card payments through Stripe with Apple Pay and Google Pay at checkout, included rather than a paid add-on.
• Delivery and collection, with per-order courier dispatch through integrated networks including Uber Direct, or your own drivers, with live tracking.
• POS on the Go: live menu changes, stock counts, refunds, order history and a sales dashboard with CSV export (Web and Pro).
• Loyalty stamps and points, offers and promo codes, and push notification campaigns you send yourself.
• Your menu rebuilt for you from whatever you can save, every size, option and price, reviewed by you before launch.

How to claim it

1. Save your GloriaFood data first: the checklist for leaving GloriaFood covers the menu, photos and customer list, because there is no export tool for the menu and nothing survives the cutoff.
2. Book a callback or send the contact form, say you are on GloriaFood and which plan you want. We will ask for one thing: a screenshot of your GloriaFood admin or billing page showing your restaurant.
3. Send us your menu as a spreadsheet, a PDF or photos. We build your ordering system around it and you approve it before it goes live, usually within 30 days.
4. Run both systems side by side, repoint your QR codes and website button, tell your regulars, then switch GloriaFood off on your own terms.

The small print, all of it

• UK restaurants and takeaways with an active GloriaFood account, signing up with Aexir before 30 April 2027.
• Any plan: Web, Starter, Plus or Pro. The first three months of the subscription are £0.
• The plan is taken on a 12-month term at the published price; the 12 paid months start after the free months.
• Cancel before the 12 paid months are complete and the three free months are charged at the plan’s published price (£90 ex VAT on Web or Starter, £120 on Plus, £150 on Pro).
• One offer per restaurant. Proof is a screenshot of your GloriaFood admin or billing page.
